会议简介 Brief Introduction

The 10th International Conference on Civil Engineering (ICCE2023) will be held in Nanchang, China during December 24-25, 2023.

Serving as an open forum for sharing and spreading the newest ideas and latest research findings among all parties involved in any aspects of Civil Engineering, ICCE 2023 will be an ideal platform for bringing together researchers, practitioners, scholars, professors and engineers from all around the world to exchange the newest research results and stimulate the scientific innovations.

The conference is hosted by Nanchang Institute of Technology and Civil Engineering Academy of Jiangxi Province,  co-organized by journal of Rock and Soil Mechanics, Key Laboratory for Safety of Water Conservancy and Civil Engineering Infrastructure in Jiangxi Province, Jiangxi Provincial Engineering Research Center of Special Reinforcement and Safety Monitoring Technology in Hydraulic & Civil EngineeringKey Laboratory of Sichuan Province for Road Engineering, Southwest Jiaotong University, and will be organized by Hubei Zhongke Institute of Geology and Environment Technology every year in different locations all around the world, to foster the knowledge and understanding of the recent advances across the broad field of Civil Engineering.

The ICCE 2023 conference committee is excited to invite you to attend the event, for meeting and exchanging the recent advances and research achievements in the common research fields.

All the accepted papers will be indexed by EI Compendex and Scopus.

Professor Wang has been working on acoustic waves and high frequency vibrations of elastic and piezoelectric solids for resonator design and analysis with several US and Chinese patents, about 200 journal papers, and frequent invited, keynote, and plenary presentations in major conferences around world. He has been board members, advisors, and consultants to many leading companies in acoustic wave device industry. Professor Wang has been a member of many international conference committees and currently serving the IEEE UFFC Technical Program Committees of the Frequency Control and Ultrasonics Symposia, the IEEE MTT-S, and the IEC TC-49. He is also the funding chair of Committee on Mechanics of Electronic and Magnetic Devices, CSTAM, and the SPAWDA. From 2015, Profess Wang is the editor-in-chief of Structural Longevity and members of the editorial boards of several international journals.

Professor Yong Huang

Yong Huang is the full professor of the Division of Intelligent Civil Infrastructure at the Harbin Institute of Technology, China and is a National Young Talent. He has a Ph.D. in Engineering Mechanics from Harbin Institute of Technology. He also was a Postdoctoral Scholar in department of Computing & Mathematical Sciences and department of Mechanical & Civil Engineering at the California Institute of Technology during the periods of February 2012 until February 2013 and December 2014 until February 2017, respectively. Yong Huang has published over 80 technical papers, covering topics in structural health monitoring of bridge and High-speed rail track structures, structural system identification, Bayesian compressive sensing, guided-wave testing, machine learning, etc. In most of his researches, he uses a Bayesian machine learning treatment for complex engineering inverse problems. He served as an editor of Sensors journal and is an Associate Editor in Structural Sensing, Control and Asset Management (specialty section of Frontiers in Built Environment). He is the member of the Board of the Structure and Bridge Branch of China Highway and Transportation Society and one of the main drafters of Technical Specifications for Structural Monitoring of Highway Bridges in transportation industry of China.

Professor Gang Zhang

Dr. Gang Zhang is a University Distinguished Professor at Chang’an University (CHD) and an International Famous Expert in the field of bridge fire safety. He serves as Director of Research Center on Bridge Extreme Loading and Protection, and Head of Bridge Structure and Material Fire Laboratory at Chang’an University. Prof. Zhang’s expertise is on the evaluation and protection of bridge structure and material behavior under extreme fire conditions. His research has focused on the experimental behavior, analytical modeling and numerical prediction of bridge structure under extreme fire exposure conditions, constitutive modelling of material properties at high temperatures, fire-resistant design of bridge structure, and bridge collapsed investigations. He has developed fundamental understanding on the behavior of bridge structure and materials subjected to extreme fire hazard. His research accomplishments, in the field of bridge fire safety and material at elevated temperatures, has great contribution and major impacts to improve development of disaster prevention and mitigation in transport infrastructure. Prof. Zhang, along with his students and collaborates, has led to over 150 peer-reviewed papers in journals and conferences. The most recent contribution from Zhang is a new text book on “Fire Theory and Calculation Method of Bridge Structure” published by China Communications Press.
